This is a lovely memory of a day in Lyme Regis which was the tail end of our Indian Summer. After the bussle of the seafront the harbour is picturesque and I took this photo purely so that I could paint it later.
I love the peeling varnish and the rainwater in the boat at the front and I also like the perspective and interesting lines that the ropes and their reflections create
