Brum Ting

Watercolour, ink and pencil 255 x 370mm unframed. The Birmingham Commonwealth Games have just finished and I just had to get my thoughts down on paper. I was lucky enough to attend some events and to see King Kong and the Bull in the City. I wanted to capture the vibrancy and the excitement of the event. The colours, sounds and atmosphere were amazing. I started with a basic idea but more things came into play as I started to see it on paper. I like the layering of text and images and the bright colours of the inks
