Puffins on Farne

This original watercolour was taken from a wonderful day on Farne in 2019 (highly recommend the trip from Seahouses) when the sun shone, the sea was blue and there were thousands of seabirds all around. Farne is a magical place where you can see the birds up close and the sounds and smells are amazing. This is from the same trip as the Shag painting.
These two were sat on the cliff edge watching the world go by. I've tried to capture the light and atmosphere.
The paper is exactly 35cm x 28cm and will fit into a standard size clip frame and crop nicely with a 3cm mounting
